Update

Wow its been awhile huh!? I'll update my two or three readers:
My job has picked up! We had two nurses quit and then 13 admissions, needless to say I've been working overtime the last 5 weeks and am worn out! Our boss started school to become a Nurse Practitioner which leaves me and the other nurse/case manager to deal with the mess. I currently case manage 18 patients and we are getting more everyday. I cried almost everyday the first week, they did give us raises and promised us bonuses but I was still a wreck. I am loving the job though, it's so different treating people in their homes rather then in a hospital. They are thrilled to be home even if they do have a wound vac or a picc line to deal with. We also don't have a social worker so I've had to become my own. It's a birth by fire experience but my head is above water. We just hired an LPN to help with visits since I'm going on maternity leave in 4 short weeks! We may need to hire another but my boss has promised me full time hours when my maternity leave is over so he is holding off. They have treated me so well there and include me on all business decisions. I have learned so much for it being my first nursing job!
Also, after a year and a half I got my braces off! My teeth all touch again :).

This is my bite!
After:
This is me a few weeks ago (I think 34 or 35 weeks preggo) This is what I do when I get home, just lay in bed. At 35 weeks this little guy has dropped and I'm definitely feeling pregnant. I was in bed all last Sunday with back pain and pelvis pressure. I drank lots of water and slept it off. I am not swelling mostly because on the days I work I pack a liter of fresh lemon water with me and its gone before noon. It's a whole other pain in the ass finding places to let that water out though. Home health is not convenient for bathrooms.
And last but not least my little boy cut open his finger last night. He was cutting an orange with a butter knife and sliced it right open. I didn't think it was bad and just grabbed a wet cloth and wrapped it up but it kept dripping on the floor. I had him hold the rag and called Lance down to help me look at it. Once we wiped the blood away for a brief second we could see it was pretty deep so off to the clinic we went. Yes I did take bloody pictures, come on first stitches!!!
He had asked for chicken nuggets like right before he cut his finger, I was boiling water for spaghetti and told him no (And that they are disgusting). So after the long night at the clinic we had to stop for fast food and he got his chicken nuggets lol. I told him I thought it was his plan the whole night and he just smiled.
