New/Old Job

I typed this up a month ago but it never posted so here it is, consider it an update:

I finally found a job! I was thrilled after interviewing with my boss. Our interview lasted 2 hours and she invited me back for a group interview the next week. It was very intimidating to have all these nurses, CNA's, social workers and case managers around a big table all looking at little ol me and the end in the hot seat. It fealt like a roast where all the comedians make fun of you on national television.



My references had talked with Mary (new boss) and given her such good referrals. She had pretty high expectations after hearing what my professors and clinical instructors had to say about me. She told me they had said I was going to go somewhere in my life and that I needed to be with a company that will allow me to grow and expand my roles. I later talked to my clinical instructor who had said these things and she was very adament that I continue my education no matter what obstacles that come along. It felt so good to hear these things especially since I get so discouraged and wonder in I'm giong to make all the deadlines and pass all the tests and in the end I always feel like I don't know a single thing but they really motivated me to continue



I applied for the Bachelor program at WSU, so we'll see if I get in. If I don't get in the accelerated program I think I'll take a year off for a break. I'm burnt out!
