Camping

We went camping up by causey dam the end of July with some friends. It was a wild time and the kids loved it! The first night we had a jump rope and push up competition which I lost so I had to cook and clean after every meal on the trip.

The second night we discovered our grill had a leak in it, we used what we called "inmate innovations" we balanced our grill on rocks and the edge of the fire pit and cooked our dinner. The men were very proud of themselves for this. The steak only took an hour to cook but it was delicious.

Next activity was fishing! Logan and Mia had new fishing poles and were obsessed with 'fishing' which was really throwing our their line and reeling it back in.

Fishing looks exhilerating.

The next portion of the fun involved tubing down the Weber river.

Suprisingly no one got seriously injured, except Jason did try to go down on

a tube that had a weight limit of 60 lbs.

Betcha thought Lance left the metal detectors and gold pans home didn't you.
Nope, he brought both detectors and pans.

Thats my man.

I got pretty good at hobo showers by the time we went home, we all

smelled like roses. Gotta love it.

It's been an awesome summer so far
