Wednesday December 30 will be a day to remember. That day was the last day off I will have until Martin Luther King day, and the next day off after that is Presidents Day.
Then I go 3 months.
I knew this day was coming and I have been trying to prepare as much as I can. A big thing for me was getting our new little place organized so I don't feel chaotic. Unfortunately my husband and my son can't read, so I'm out of ideas. I spent the last two weeks off trying to:
1. Label label label
2. Unpack
3. Finish 10 units of medical terminology before the 1st day of class (I have one more day and one more section).
4. Finish the extra credit assignment due on the 1st day of class.
5. Spend all my christmas money on new clothes since I haven't bought a pair of jeans since 2005. (I did this in one day)
I did finally get some curtains hung up in the dining room. and yes that is
wood paneling and yes you should be jealous.
Let me get back to my boys not being able to read. I have to give Logan credit, even though he is three and can't read, he is memorizing where things go. Lance on the other hand has selective reading observe:
Cute Logan loved organizing his room, he couldn't believe how many cars, trains, and tracks he had. He has been good at putting them away and knows where most of them go. I labeled them to help his daddy also know where they go.
Lance, this says S-H-O-E-S
Billion year old Dino knows how to read why cant my 27 year old husband
Somemore random Logan room pics.
I am OBSESSED with schedules and following them and I hope that we can keep this place in order so I will be able to do this crazy school work mom thing and have time with Logan at the end of the day rather them scrubbing time.
Wish me luck, it will be awhile till we chat again.
