We are out of the closet.

Lance has taken up the incredibly nerdy hobby of metal detecting. After months of making fun of him, I joined in. It has been a fun summer we have gone to almost every park in Northern Utah, all the old ones at least. Also we have researched and hunted many old building grounds and old towns, pretty much anything old. Lance has found some way cool things, I'm not so good at it yet but next summer I hope to find a big fat diamond ring. Above are some of the rings we've found, one is part of a wedding set and another is a guys wedding ring that says forever and always. We posted them on KSL but no one seems to be missing them, we found them at pineview. Our last trip of the season we went up to some dam up past morgan and taggart. Suprisingly I didn't get pics with the detectors cuz I don't know if the world is ready for how cool we look but the ground was frozen so we didn't get much done. Logan had a good time though.

Throwing rocks in the water and such.

It was a bit cold.

Here is a cute video of Logan throwing rocks in the water, his favorite thing in the world. We love bringing Logan because when there is rocks and dirt around, he is completely content.

Go back into the closet. Please.

Hee hee! Love the clip of Logan, but probably not as much as Logan like the clip of Logan! Thanks for visiting today! I'm glad you couldn't find the 400 North exit!

Stopping by from SITS. Metal detecting might be nerdy - but I've always wanted to do it! I think it sounds fun.

That's where I lost my heart ring.... just kidding. A hobby is a great thing to have. No one will be making fun of you when you find a fancy, shiny rock.

I'm having a give-a-way on my blog, check it out if you want. Perhaps something free without using the metal detector. :D

I just wandered over to your blog from SITS.

Your blog header cracked me up!

Hope you find that big, fat diamond ring. :) Your son looks so happy throwing rocks in the video. Too cute.

I am so glad you visited my blog...I followed you home and your header picture gave me a good laugh this morning...secondly because you are from UTAH...which I miss with a passion. I was born and raised and lived there for 40 years...And now I'm stuck in New England. So anytime I find a Utah blog I LOVE it...because it brings me a piece of home. I'm off to snoop around some more. Don't worry I took my shoes off so I won't mess up the floor!
